  1. Assalamu'Alaikum, Br Khalil, why do you put this un-islamic video on your blog, it clearly violates the shariah.

This poem does not seem to be haram. How do you feel it is haram brother?

    Steven/Jamilicon,

Sorry I did not get back to you sooner. Honestly, I did not screen the whole video before I posted it. I should have at least put a disclaimer that this video may contain foul language. That is, yes, definitelly haram. I heard about this individual and I wanted to post something from him. He seems to have a very favorable opinion of Islam and Muslims. When I was looking for something to post about him, I just found a bunch of raps (with music). So being that I do not want to promote music (since my understanding is that it is haram), I was looking for a poem or something else from him. Again I apologize for the haste. May Allah forgive me. However, I must say that I do like his overall revolutionary message.

On another note, I am not an 'alim. I am a student of knowledge, and I am prone to make mistakes. I make some dawah but not as much as I would like due to my obligations of work, school, and my family.

InshAllah, I invite you to write for my blog. Just send me something and I will consider it for posting.

Thanks for visiting my blog. I appreciate your comments and criticisms.

May Allah subhanahu wa ta 'ala bless you, Amin.

    Khalil
